Reed Hoffmann has been a professional photographer for over twenty-five years, working at papers in the midwest, south and east. Two-time NPPA Regional Photographer of the Year winner, he now lives in Kansas City and divides his time between editorial and commercial photo assignments (USA Today, New York Times, Nikon, Lexar, Lowepro, Eco-Challenge, The Apprentice, Contender, Rock Star) and digital photography consulting and teaching as a partner in Blue Pixel (www.bluepixel.net). He's written papers on color management for Microsoft, digital workflow for Lexar and is a regular columnist for various digital photography websites.
